History
Established on April 10th, 2016, Srijan Public School stands as a beacon of hope for children from low-income families, especially those of day laborers and migrant workers.
The school's core mission revolves around providing high-quality elementary education to these underserved communities, offering a pathway to a brighter future.
Overview and Aim
Adivasi, or the indigenous population of the country, has always been cut off from the mainstream, and this is the root cause of their deprivation of basic human rights. Apart from that, some areas of the country witness incidents of violence and turmoil.
Managing the Naxal-dominant areas of Jharkhand is a challenge for the administration as well. During such incidents, the Adivasi population and their children are at the receiving end. Apart from the loss of property and belongings, the education of children suffers the most.
Dr. Archika Didi found an opportunity to serve the Adivasi society in Jharkhand and is doing so by running two schools in Rukka and Khunti.
